The Midnight Devils are an international touring high energy glam slam boogie woogie rock n roll band out of Omaha, NE and Chicago, IL. Featuring Sam Spade on bass and vocals, Sniper on guitar, and the indestructible Jimmy Mess on the drums. Throwing all caution to the wind this power-trio is a bad ass-lipstick smeared party rock n roll band that takes glam to the next level. Having done hundreds of shows from coast to coast, in support of their debut album Something Bigger, The Midnight Devils' mix of rock n roll, sexuality, and depravity are the perfect combination. In 2022 The Midnight Devils' sophmore album Never Beg For It was released by Pavement Entertainment and pushed the bar even higher. Produced by Chip Znuff and featuring the singles Working For The Weekend and Highway 69, The Midnight Devils toured 10 countries in Europe in 2022 supporting the new release. The Midnight Devils have also toured as the direct support act for UK rock legends The Quireboys, Yngwie Malmsteen, Enuff Znuff, The Bullteboys, and Pretty Boy Floyd. Led by the charismatic frontman Eric St. Michaels, a seasoned veteran in the world of rock 'n' roll, the band has been on a relentless journey to redefine the genre with their electrifying sound. Eric St. Michaels, originally from the vibrant rock scene of New Jersey, found a new home in Switzerland over two decades ago. His powerful and soulful vocals are best known from his time as the former lead singer of the renowned band "China". With King Zebra, Eric has embarked on a new musical odyssey, taking his rich experience and passion for rock to new heights. In 2019, King Zebra burst onto the scene with the release of their EP, immediately capturing the attention of rock enthusiasts worldwide. With their energetic live shows the band performed on iconic festivals like Rock the Ring and Rock of Ages and had the privilege of sharing stages with legends like Lynyrd Skynyrd, Uriah Heep, and Rose Tattoo, solidifying their status as a formidable force in the rock arena. The year 2020 marked a milestone for King Zebra as they recorded the album "Survivors" at the Crehate Studios in Gothenburg, Sweden. With the producer Oscar Nilsson – known for his work with Hank von Hell, The Halo Effect and Crashdiet – the band crafted an album that encapsulates their raw energy and musical prowess. "Survivors" was later released by Golden Robot Records and the band did multiple tours through Europe and played sold out shows abroad and in their home country of Switzerland. In 2023, King Zebra signed a record deal with Frontiers Records. With this exciting new chapter, the band is poised to continue their musical journey, bringing their signature sound to even greater heights. As King Zebra continues to conquer stages, airwaves, and hearts around the world, their mission remains clear: to keep the flame of Melodic Hard Rock burning brightly, ensuring that the legacy of rock 'n' roll lives on through their electrifying music and live performances. In March 2017 Nenad and Ueli meet at Billabong Winterthur for a first conversation as a result of an advertisement by Nenad on *music.ch*. They rehearse together twice and In addition, many other experienced parallels emerge. Both miss the band life after a long family break. The chemistry is right. In May 2017 they find a band room for joint use in Embrach. They search for keyboarder and bassist. Svenja (electric piano) and Maggs (bass) join them. First songs are created and old songs from former times are newly arranged.

In November the band name " G.M.R " is chosen from various suggestions.A new band room is found in Fehraltorf and from January 2018 on the room is put into service. By chance a singer named Alexandra (Alex) is found in May, who can be inspired by our music. Svenja and Maggs separate from G.M.R. in September 2018 and soon the bassist Marc is found and proves to be the ideal complement.
In December 2018 Ueli writes to ex-band keyboarder Peti and he becomes the ideal addition to G.M.R., as he has also co-composed several songs from earlier times.
G.M.R. "wants to know it" and decides in July, to play the first gig at the AA Jam in Aadorf. November 2nd, "G.M.R" have its world premiere. Now the band has consolidated and continues to work on demo recordings, new songs, homepage etc.In 2020 there are no concerts to think about because of Covid-19. That's why the band tries to record a few songs in the rehearsal room and mix them themselves. The first demo recordings are made.

January 2024

We have reformed and are starting all over again.
We're leaving no stone unturned and are in the process of dressing up some of the old songs in new clothes and creating new songs.
The motivation is right and we are making good progress. The band name will also change, we are still collecting ideas but of course the music has priority.
So be patient!
