Led by the charismatic frontman Eric St. Michaels, a seasoned veteran in the world of rock 'n' roll, the band has been on a relentless journey to redefine the genre with their electrifying sound. Eric St. Michaels, originally from the vibrant rock scene of New Jersey, found a new home in Switzerland over two decades ago. His powerful and soulful vocals are best known from his time as the former lead singer of the renowned band "China". With King Zebra, Eric has embarked on a new musical odyssey, taking his rich experience and passion for rock to new heights. In 2019, King Zebra burst onto the scene with the release of their EP, immediately capturing the attention of rock enthusiasts worldwide. With their energetic live shows the band performed on iconic festivals like Rock the Ring and Rock of Ages and had the privilege of sharing stages with legends like Lynyrd Skynyrd, Uriah Heep, and Rose Tattoo, solidifying their status as a formidable force in the rock arena. The year 2020 marked a milestone for King Zebra as they recorded the album "Survivors" at the Crehate Studios in Gothenburg, Sweden. With the producer Oscar Nilsson – known for his work with Hank von Hell, The Halo Effect and Crashdiet – the band crafted an album that encapsulates their raw energy and musical prowess. "Survivors" was later released by Golden Robot Records and the band did multiple tours through Europe and played sold out shows abroad and in their home country of Switzerland. In 2023, King Zebra signed a record deal with Frontiers Records. With this exciting new chapter, the band is poised to continue their musical journey, bringing their signature sound to even greater heights. As King Zebra continues to conquer stages, airwaves, and hearts around the world, their mission remains clear: to keep the flame of Melodic Hard Rock burning brightly, ensuring that the legacy of rock 'n' roll lives on through their electrifying music and live performances.
